Essex Junction Firefighters Fund Inc.

Annual Scholarship

The members of the Essex Junction Firefighters Fund believe there is a need to help a student of any age achieve his or her goals in life through continuing education. Therefore a scholarship is awarded each year to an individual who has defined the spirit of volunteerism and community service that the Essex Junction Fire Department was founded upon.

The scholarship(s) shall be awarded to an individual accepted at or attending a post secondary institution of learning. The individual shall have demonstrated a significant commitment to their community and be a resident of the Village of Essex Junction or Town of Essex. 

This year the Association will be awarding up to two scholarships in the sum of $1000.00.  Applications may be picked up at in the guidance office at the Essex Educational Center, at the Village Office, at the fire station on Monday nights or online at

Scholarship deadline is May 20th. Applications can be mailed to Assistant Fire Chief John Rowell
