2025 Raffle

EJFA is holding its fifth annual raffle, but unlike previous years, we are looking to raffle off prizes you can use at home, whether you live in the City of Essex Junction or are supporting us from another community. Last year's raffle was an extremely successful fundraiser. The Firefighter Association has used those funds to give back to the community. Our association purchased a plaque to honor all Coast Guard members at the 5 Corners Veterans Park. We also provided a $1,000 scholarship for a local high school graduate. Lastly, we purchased new equipment for the Fire department, including tool repair and training props, and have plans for additional items for our latest training site at the Champlain Valley Exposition. EJFA's raffles allow the purchase of valuable equipment without increasing our tax costs.

We received a lot of feedback from our last raffle, with many resident telling us they were looking for something they could use in the City. They also wanted something they could use in multiple seasons.

We listened and this year EJFA has partnered with United Ag & Turf in Williston to offer a top prize of a John Deere X350 Lawn tractor with a 42" mower deck, 44" Snow Blower, Tire Chains and 2 ballast weights, or first the first time ever a Cash prize of $5,500.

To continue to add to the offering we worked with Lowes and are offering a 2nd place prize of a Charbroil Commercial Series Grill and Griddle Combo with cover and utensil set.  3rd place prize of a Solo stove with stand and shelter. 

With the new raffle we have dropped the ticket price to $20 and increased the sale number to 1,000 tickets. Our goal is to sell them all, but unlike previous years the date is set and we will hold the raffle on September 27th, 2025.​ EJFA will hold a live Facebook drawing on our page to pick the winner.
