FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION

"Our mission is to support the Essex Junction Fire Department and charitable causes."

The Essex Junction Firefighters Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports the fire department and gives back to the community. It is primarily made up of firefighters and officers, but the Association is separate, and you do not have to be a department member to join.

Funded entirely through fundraising and donations, the Association helps purchase new equipment for the department to keep those costs off community taxes. In recent years, donations have funded gas meters, thermal imaging cameras, electric ventilation fans, and new nozzles for every apparatus.

WHAT WE DO

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP

For a graduating Essex High School senior or individuals committed to continuing their academic education.

BANQUETS & RECOGNITION

A yearly firefighter banquet and a Chief's dinner honoring members and their families.

HOLIDAY EVENTS

Seasonal holiday events for local families, with photos, crafts, and fire prevention education.

COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING

The Memorial Day parade barbecue, boot drops, and local business support.

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP
