The members of the Essex Junction Firefighters Association believe there is a need to help a student of any age achieve their goals in life through continuing education

Scholarship Information

One scholarship is awarded each year to an individual who has defined the spirit of volunteerism and community service that the Essex Junction Fire Department was founded upon. The individual awarded the scholarship shall have demonstrated a significant commitment to their community and be a resident of the City of Essex Junction. The money awarded through this scholarship is to be used toward higher education, including but not limited to training programs, certifications, or formal classes through an institution of higher learning.

The FF Association will be awarding one scholarship in the sum of $1000.00 in 2024.

A paper applications can be dropped off at the City Offices at 2 Lincoln Street if applicant would prefer. Please make sure you answer all requested questions in your response.

The deadline for scholarship applications is June 14th.
