Williston Structure Fire-Mutual Aid-Water Supply
At 0332 on June 12th the Essex Junction FireDepartment responded mutual aid to the town of Williston for a structure fire. Essex Junction Engine 21 and 8U61 where assigned water supply. Essex Junction Fire set up a tanker fill location at the hydrant at the end of Slate Barn Road. Crews were emplace and filling tankers until 0615. During the operation Essex Junction Fire filled 11 tankers from multiple different departments. The fire located of from South Rd was reported as fully involved upon arrival of the first units. A resident was found to have jumped out of the second story of the home. Crews from Williston, South Burlington, Essex, Richmond, Hinesburg worked throughout the night to put out the fire. Fire was called out and crews returned back to their stations just after 0630.
